Country Food Trails provides a unique, personal introduction to the farms, growers and producers who are the backbone of the area’s much celebrated food and wine scene. The tours are thoughtfully planned, fun and flavour packed experiences for down-to-earth foodies.
The tours are seasonal and experiences include; foraging for mushrooms, picking saffron, cherries, apples or stone fruit, visiting an olive grown or a hazelnut farm or an Indigenous bush tucker food tasting.
Nicole Farrell is an Orange local and experienced international tour guide. Her successful international tour business is currently on hold, thanks to COVID-19.
Nicole decided to use her skills and extensive local connections to showcase all that Orange has to offer. She identified a gap in the market for tours that give people a deeper connection to the food and wine of the region. That’s the short version of how Country Food Trails was established!
